Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: July 21, 2026
Some of the gear links next to a calculator result — a scanner, a tread gauge, a set of axle stands — are affiliate links. Here’s exactly what that means.
Amazon Associates
CoachGarage is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to let sites earn a fee by linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, CoachGarage earns from qualifying purchases made through those links.
What We Link To
Product links are tied to specific calculator results, not scattered at random: a heavy-duty diagnostic scanner or a fleet maintenance logbook alongside the Fuel Cost Calculator and Maintenance Interval Tracker, a tread depth gauge next to the Tyre Replacement Estimator, a torque wrench and axle stands for garage work, and hi-vis workwear for yard and roadside checks. Each one is a real, common product category — we don’t point to a specific model or brand beyond the search terms that surface reputable listings.
Recommendations Aren’t for Sale
What we suggest is based on what actually relates to the task a calculator just helped with, not on which link pays the most. We don’t swap in a product because its commission is higher, and we’d rather you compare a few listings, read the reviews, and pick what fits your vehicles, workshop, and budget than click blindly.
It Never Costs You More
Clicking an affiliate link and buying something doesn’t change the price you pay. Amazon sets its own prices and availability, and both can change independently of anything on this site.
Ads Are a Separate Thing
The display advertisements you see around the site (served through Google AdSense) are unrelated to affiliate links — different program, different mechanism, and not chosen by us. More on both in the Disclaimer and Cookie Policy.
